In India there was a law under motor vehicles act which highlights the rule to wear compulsorily a helmet while driving a 2 wheeler. This law is only to save the life of the motorist while driving at the roads and during the time of accidents. But, to my surprise people have no awareness of the importance of this law and they risk their life while driving a 2 wheeler in roads in which anything can happen. Helmet is recommended only for the safety of the rider of the vehicle and not for any one else. But it is misunderstood by some people who think that there are so many rules to follow while driving a vehicle and think casually that what will happen if i don’t wear one helmet this time. Some time they may escape from accidents but don’t you think that it is too risky to drive a 2 wheeler without a helmet.

We used to read so many accidents in our city in our news papers. When we watch them closely most of the life would have been saved if the rider had helmet in his head while driving. Head injury is the major factor which kills life immediately at the spot of an accident and to save ones life from such head injuries one had to wear helmet while driving a 2 wheeler without fail. While driving a 2 wheeler they should have their family in their mind and should not risk their life by not wearing a helmet.

Helmet may cause some hindrance to your hair style or may be a reason for hair fall or may be a reason for sinus. But when compared to the risk of head injuries these small discomforts can be taken for good reasons. Therefore everyone should wear a helmet while driving a 2 wheeler not for the sake of motor vehicle inspectors or traffic policemen but for the benefit of our own safety.
