Free and Compulsory Education for India’s Children unto the age of 14 Years is a welcoming law
From the aspect of every Indian child. The New Law entitles every Indian Child unto the Age of 14 Yrs to have School education without fail. 8 Years of Formal Education is Compulsory for all the Children who are below the age of 14 years. This new Law of RTE has become in vogue in the year 2010 where there is a deadly practice of Female Feticide. This has to be resolved and it can be done only through creating awareness among the people of India the importance of the Girl Child. One way of reducing this crime is through proper education to every child who is going to be the future of India.
The new law has some de merits. Firstly the Law does not cover Pre school education and secondly
The clarity of reforms leading to a decent common school system. There is a vast difference between the caliber of Private schools and govt.schools.
The Irony of this Child RTE law is the child cannot demand its right to education nor can the child fight a legal battle when the right is denied or violated. The future depends on the steps that are going to be taken by the state govt.s and central govt’s effective implementation of the RTE. The RTE should also be taken as a duty of the state, Parents and guardians and the community as a whole should ensure that all the children of India should have primary education only then this can be effectively implemented.
